For valentines day I wanted to make the kids homemade valentines to pass out their classes. Emma had come home with a friendship bracelet and that reminded me of a item that I had pinned a while ago: Valentine's friendship bracelets via dandee http://pinterest.com/pin/56576539040923162/.
I started that night making the bracelets and had them done in no time! Emma was so excited to pass out her cards!

Valentine-Mustache you a question
For valentines day I wanted to make the kids homemade valentines to pass out their classes. I had just downloaded to mustache cartridge for my circuit craft room and I had black felt leftover from another project. Light bulb!!! For Max, I will make mustaches to give away.
I cut out the mustaches images and put glue dots on one side and stuck it to the sucker. I found the image and sized it down to fit on the sucker wrapper and tapped it.
Max reported that the kids all enjoyed the mustaches and the suckers.

At home Gel Manicure
I'm always looking for something fun to try and save money... And I always come up with something on Pinterest! I love to have my nails painted but it never seems to last more then a day :( until I found this pin: http://pinterest.com/pin/56576539040824333/
I followed her steps and it worked great! I had buy the get the Gelous Nail Gel and the Out The Door Fast Drying Top Coat. The gel was about $5.00 and I got the big bottle of top coat for about $13.00. Still under the money I would pay for one manicure at a nail place.
It lasted for a week and might have lasted longer if I wouldn't have got stressed at work and started picking at them. I have to travel, for work, this up and coming week and can't wait to paint them and not have to worry while traveling!

Snowman kit
I had been looking for ideas for holiday gifts to give to friends then I stumbled onto a snowman kit on Pinterest. http://pinterest.com/pin/56576539040408889/
I love the idea so I had to make a few sets for friends. I bought top hats and cut a snowflake to put on the hats and I wrapped one with the red felt and left the other one as it came. I cut out the scarf and made the rest of it with clay, I did as the lady said and baked with the sticks with wire on them but after baking them I went ahead and put hot glue around the sticks. I hope they stay on :) I have only made two so far.. It takes a lot more clay then I was thinking.... Gulp. Now we just need some snow so we can all try out the snowman kits. :)

More Snowflake Christmas decor
I found a few other snowflakes at the local dollar store and knew that I needed something to hang in the the front windows of our house for our house. I was inspired by this Pin: http://pinterest.com/pin/56576539040401717/
for my window decorations I made mirror images so one window will have the big blue snowflake on the bottom right and the next window will have the big blue snowflake on the bottom left.
I just used hot glue to attach all the snowflakes to the big clear snowflake.
Supper cute and cheap! The white snowflakes came 10 for $1.00 and the big blue ones came 2 for $1.00. The big clear ones are $1.00 each and the small dark blue ones where left over from the snowflake wreath that I made. I can't wait to see them in the windows with spot lights on them! :)

Brrrr it is cold outside- Snowflake Wreath
I have not been spending enough time in my craft room. Now, that it's cold I should have more time to enjoy my wonderful craft room. As you all might know I'm a big fan of Pinterest and I love to pick out one of my pins and try to make it :) This time I tackled something that I have been obsessed with for awhile. Every time is see the pin I keep thinking I MUST make that one!
One day I found myself at a local dollar store and there where white snowflakes (10 for $1.00- YES!) Then found blue snowflakes at Jo-Ann's. I know they where not as cheap but I love that combo of colors (Most of my Christmas decor is white/ blue snowflakes). I also got the tulle at Jo-Ann's. I wanted the glitter tulle so it had more sparkle but, they didn't have any...I came up with a way to make it sparkle!;)
I really enjoyed putting this wreath together and I LOVE, LOVE how it looks!!!! It makes me smile every time is see it!! I'm thinking about adding more to it but I'm not sure. If I change it I will post the updated pics.
I used White and Blue Tulle and added glitter to the tulle :) I SO, SO can't wait to hang it on our front door!!!

Halloween Decor for the fireplace
I got a bunch of mask from Michael's and found the Martha Stewart- Multi-surface Glow- in- dark Acrylic craft paint. It was fast to paint the mask. I think I ended up with two coasts for each mask.
The big issue was how to put them on the wall without actually having them stay forever. :) I had a very large sheet of foam insulation that I cut to just fit in the space over the fireplace. I covered with cheap black table cover and used straight pins in the mask to keep them on the foam insulation. I used the velcro command strips to hang the black lights on the side of the fire place... Loved it!
