First I wanted to create a prototype for our Scrabble wall hanging. We started out with a 4x4 paper prototype. After looking at it, with my friend Barb, we realized that we needed it to be bigger for the spaces we want to place ours. So we did a prototype of a 6x6. The 'B' is 5.625" (actual size) and the '1' is 1" (actual size) cut with the Sans Serif cartridge on the Cricut.

Planned weekend fun!!!
Wow! I haven't posted in awhile... I guess a 70+ hour work week make it hard to find time to post. Work has slowed a little so I hope to do a project that I have been wanting to do for awhile. I found this on Pinterest and Love the idea....

Playing around with the names on paper. Also, thinking about adding our last name... Time will tell.:)

With love...
Yikes! My day job has been crazy!!! As of today I have worked 62 hours. I needed a pick me up so crafting always makes things better.
February 8th would have been my Grandma Aletha's 96th birthday... Oh, how I miss her. One of my memories of her is the pansy flowers she always had in her garden. So in memory of her I made some pansies.
With a few of the Pansies I made this card. :)

Thinking I might have to make more for Easter decor!

yummy Shredded Beef for Tacos
Found another slow Cooker recipe that we will have again! :) Saturday we tossed it into the slow cooker and invited over some friends. we had all the fixings and it turned out good. I think the best part, for me, is that it was so not planned. I just called up some friends and we hung out in the kitchen talking, drinking and getting the rest of the stuff ready for the tacos.
here is the link if you want to try it.

Valentines ready to POP!
I found yet another cool idea on Pinterest! I got the photos in today of the kids and had to add the lollipop ASAP!
Super easy to do:
- I took a photo of the the kids with their hand stretched out in front of them, acting as they are holding the sucker.
- Uploaded the photos to snapfish and Added the Valentine borders and had them printed out. I lucked out cause there was a 99 prints for $.99 going on so the biggest cost was shipping.
- Cut a slit at the top of the hand and one at the bottom
- Get your favorit lollipops and stick it into the wholes that you made!
- LOVE IT! :) Thinking about different lollipop for Valentines day. But, today I had to use what was in the house.
