Gifts for Bus Driver

I also like to give other folks that help us during the year to get our Son back and forth from school everyday so I always make the bus driver a quick little gift card. This year we did Gas card and Target Card.
I know that last year I did a little yellow bus but they year I wanted to be fun colors....same bus (next needs to be new) but I was once again waiting to the last minute.

You can't see it very well in the photo but the paper has sparkles

2012 end of year Teacher gift

Wow! June in flying by so fast.... I have been looking for a great teacher gift to make. I like to give gifts that the teacher will use. I might go a little overboard but they are teaching the most precious people in my world :D

This year I had a Band-Aid box that I held on to just so I could make a project. Yeah, I have a love for containers :) So I came up with the idea to make it a "Summer- Aid" box. I put in gift cards (Starbucks, Barns & Noble, Shell, Target, AMC - movies)

I used the paper in the inside of the box to make a cover for the gift.
I then added the vinyl letters.

I then glue dotted the gift cards onto colorful paper and added a butterfly to each one for a tab.

I added more fun to the top with flowers stickers that I had hanging around

Then I had more space to fill so I put in: lip balm, sunscreen, Altoids and hand sanitizer.

made another paper from the template to write a message and added the extras.

Added a bright bow and sent it off to school with my son!

Mini cards- for kid birthdays

I love it when a card comes together in a time of need. :) My kids have the joy of going to many kid parties and I used to make full size cards. Awhile ago I was talking to another crafter and she said that she makes small card for kids parties. My thought was what a good idea...the kids don't care about the cards they normally want the toys. :) So, I have been doing more small cards for the kids gifts.
Well, today I was scrambling to get the gift together and I realized that I had run out of cards and not made time to make more. I jump into my craft room and found the nicely stamped and glittered lion and green square. I cut the paper for the card and done!
I was so glad that I had envelope still made :) I used my Cricut to make them a long time ago when I started making the small cards.

Here is a regular sized card and the small size for kids parties.

Another Coffee card holder

My daughter is wrapping up her last days at per-school and wanted to give her two teachers gift cards! So I made another coffee card holder for the other teacher. Emma was excited to give the gifts to her teachers. :)
